   Dear Elva,
   I will pray for your little grandchild.

   Dear God, We lift up this little one to your right now. God we don’t know what the outcome will be but she is very sick. We ask God that you heal her and make her completely well. We ask for healing of her hearing also. God, her parents need encouragement and I pray that you will comfort their hearts and help them not to worry about the future. We know that all things are possible with you God. We don’t know why things happen the way they do, but we trust that you know what is best and put it all in your hands.
   In Jesus’ name I pray, thy will be done. Amen.

   Plese pray for my young grandchild of less than 4 months of age, she has not passed the hearing test as of today. She was admitted to the hospital today with pneumonia. Her mom and dad are both quite young and are facing fear of job loss and mounting medical bills. Your prayers for my family will be appreciated. With out God nothing is possible and I know that. Please keep us in your prayers.

   You look so much like my mother that I got suspicious. She was supposed to be giving up playing around on the computer for Lent. She’s a Lutheran minister’s wife. When I was growing up, she was my father’s wife, and we were just nominal Methodists (country church) and didn’t have to give up stuff for Lent. I’m personally opposed to giving up stuff that makes you happy. Good luck. My mom says that people who get prayed for have been proven to fare better than people who don’t, even if they don’t know it. I never did read that study, but I’m assuming she didn’t make it up. I could get you on their church’s prayer list if you want.

   Hi!

   Please accept my request into your intentions:

   Please pray that God will grace and heal what is left of my relationship with my ex-fiance, Adam, so that we may reconcile with each other. Please pray that God will lead him to forgive me, trust me, renew his love for me, and give him courage to give our relationship another chance. Please pray that God will remind him of the good times and soften his heart to let go of the hard times. Please pray that he will have humility to return to me if he decides. Finally, please pray that I can make choices that will foster a relationship between Adam and I.

   Please keep me in your prayers. MY family needs me and I want to be able to be to them everything that I should be. I know that fear isn’t of God and I pray that we all can overcome these strong anxiety fears.
