A homeless cat found our home in the country. She scratches on the window for food. We have two other cats that think She is looking for a fight. While the inside cats scratch, she(Scratch is her name) keeps her eyes completely focused on finding me! GOD uses all to draw me to Him. Hi Joanie, Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. Isn’t it amazing how God can use anything to help draw us closer to Him? Sometimes, though, I think we fail to see those lessons that He puts in our path. We need to see with our spiritual eyes so to speak.

I guess we suppose go through hardships, tribulations. Just be cause we a born-again Christians In Jesus Christ, & Go through hardships, tribulations. People Judge & & test us cause we are Christians

Yes, we will go through trials and hardships even if we are Christians. There is a good verse along with those you sent:
John 16:33 (NIV) “I have told you these things, so that in my you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But, take heart! I have overcome the world.”
That is a very encouraging verse, because if Christ has overcome the world we can have our peace through Him. Even when we go through trials we can know that He is right there with us holding our hand. He is the great Overcomer! This is something the people who do not know Christ cannot have or understand.

Pray for my Mother Sharon,who is trusting in Jesus for her cancer diagnos of 1 an1/2 years. She is in pain. BUT she is trustisng in Jesus. Amen.

Dear God, I lift up Greg’s mother, Sharon to you right now. Lord this woman has been struggling with cancer now for some time. Lord, I just ask that you take away her pain and give her peace and comfort. We know that you are in control no matter what is going on in our lives and we trust that you will do what is best for her right now. Thank you Lord that you are our loving Heavenly Father. Please Lord, bless this lady in a special way, and also her son for caring so much about her. In Jesus name, Amen.

My sister lost her 42 year old son last night to suicide. He had such a wonderful testimony about how he was brought back from the darkness of sin..drinking and drugs..He was dry for ten years. HE TOOK HIS EYES OFF JESUS and he lost sight of his goal.
This song came to me as I was writing to a cousin about this happening, but I wasn’t able to remember all the words. Thank you for having it posted for such a time as this.
It is like a farmer who plowed with his horse pulling his plow. He set his eyes upon an object at the end of the row. As long as he kept is sight set on that marker or object, his rows were straight. If he took his eyes off, he went off the straight and he had crooked rows. WE MUST KEEP OUR EYES UPON JESUS. We all must, but, especially ones who have been brought from a life such as he had lived. Until this past year, he was steeped in God’s word, he spoke to groups about his experience, but, he took his eye off his goal and now he is no longer here.

Dear Pat, I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your nephew. Thank you for sharing that with us. You are so right that it is very important for us all to turn our eyes upon Jesus and KEEP them there. Thanks for that reminder.
Dear God, I lift this family up to your right now. Lord please help this man’s mother, wife, aunts and uncles, and all the other family members to be comforted. You are the comforter and it is only you we can go to for help in time of sorrow. Lord, help them grieve in a healthy way and help them understand. I’ve gone through this same kind of situation in my own life and I know the deep, deep hurt and pain the survivors are left to deal with. And, from my own experience I know that you are the only one who can truly comfort our hearts. Please, dear Lord, help them all get through this heartache. Help each one not to feel guilt, but to rest in you that you are in control of everything that happens in our lives. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
