Does the phrase, “Mother Nature,” bug you as much as it does me? Who is in control anyway? God or Mother Nature?
I can’t believe I heard it again today on the news, “Mother Nature unleased her wrath again today!” They were talking about the awful tornados that tore their way across the country. Every time there is some unusual weather event someone called, “Mother Nature,” gets the blame or credit. Who is this Mother Nature anyway?
The dictionary says: Mother Nature, noun
“The personification of nature as a powerful and nurturing woman.”
Nature is everything that is not man-made according to the dictionary. Therefore, nature is God made.
Wikipedia says:
“Mother Nature is a personification of nature.”
Every time we get tornados, hurricaines, blizzards, floods, and other weather woes the news and weather media blame it all on Mother Nature. Not only that, but when we have wonderful weather and a beautiful day they say something like, “Mother Nature smiled on us today with this warm weather.” She gets the credit and the glory. So, what is the real story?
God says in Exodus 20:3, NASB “You shall have no other gods before Me.” This is one of the ten commandments, and is serious business.
God is to be praised and worshipped. Not other gods. We in our nation are getting very careless in this area. When we hear the phrase, “Mother Nature”, used over and over it becomes common. We use it without thinking of the true meaning behind it. Most of us wouldn’t intentionally praise another god.
Did you know that God is in control of the weather not Mother Nature?
The Bible has a lot to say about God and how He controls the weather.
(Psalms 78:26 NASB) He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens And by His power He directed the south wind.
(Psalms 107:25 NASB) For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, Which lifted up the waves of the sea.
(Psalms 135:7 NASB) He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightnings for the rain, Who brings forth the wind from His treasuries.
(Psalms 148:8 NASB) Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
(Proverbs 30:4 NASB) Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son’s name? Surely you know!
(Mark 4:39 NASB) And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
God created the Heavens and the Earth and He controls the weather. So, you may ask, “Why does God allow this terrible weather to cause us all kinds of problems?” The answer is that God is Sovereign. He can do whatever He wants. He is in control and nothing gets by Him.
Have you ever stopped to think that God allows bad things to happen to our nation to get our attention? We have lost our moral footing. In our society today anything goes. The news certainly validates this. There used to be sin and shame, but it has been replaced with nothing is right or wrong.
But, God says:
(Colossians 3:5 NASB) Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
(Colossians 3:6 NASB) For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience,
“The sovereignty of God is that golden sceptre in his hand by which he will make all bow, either by his word or by his works, by his mercies or by his judgements.” Thomas Brooks
The world says, “You can’t fool Mother Nature.” I say, “You can’t fool God.” He is still there, He is in control, and He holds us in the palm of His hand. We need to cry out for mercy!

i love the thought about it im only 11 and i wounder the same things why do you call it mother nature.Thats why i looked this up and yes kids now even me at points need to remember who our one and only God is.He is the man who died for our sinse and we should praise him more.Honor our savyer and love him show him nothing but love.

part 2 so i walk to the gate it was close so i start looking at the gate and saw it wasant just gold it had white blue green and more i was like wow u know cant bleve this iam out my mind i know it and as iam typing this i do sound like iam nuts lol but any ways then the gate start opening up and i start moving back and and back and i said man this gate is hugh i went back so far i almost went off but didant as u can c iam still here so the gate open and i walk in and it was nice warm smell so good i felt happy and fear was gone as i keep walking i can to this white cub now i couldant c nutthin but i could smell and feel stuff so i got tired of waitin so i sat down and keep lookin to c if i could c sumthing u know i couldant just white as i was sitting i saw this light now as i said when i came up in the chair it look like a lighthouse well this one was diff and there no way to tell u how it look bc there nutthin on earth that look like it so i went to turn around like a human would and i hear this voice plz dont look at me plz keep looking frontwards thankyou so i said why cant i c u and the man said bc no human on earth can c my face or they die i said oh really wow i said wait hold on there only one person who can do that ……. are u god he said yes i said omg i was like a lil kid in a candy store lol i almost turn back and he said plz stop u cant look at me u must keep still and look forward so i said iam so sry i forgot down on earth we look at ppl when we talk so i forget plz forgive me he said let me think about that i said ummm…. he said how u would say it on earth i understand and no wrrys i said am i dead he said no ur body still on earth alive and ur ok, i said ok so is this a dream or what he said that all i can tell u there someone else that bring u here to talk to you i said who god said u have to wait and c so i said ok how long will it be bc i know on earth a min can seem like 3 or 4 months or years no was said i said hello god hello no word so like a human i look back and no one so as i start to sit there all i could c was white walls the smells was alsome but white walls so i sat there and sat there it felt like 2 or 3 hours to betruthful i was kinda getting mad lol sry have a tamper as i went to get up i heard a voice and brown hair start to float around me and he said a name and i couldant understand it bc it was in a diff language i said sry what u said and went to turn again he said plz dont look at me or u will die i said oh ok that no problem bc god told me the same thing he said oh how nice u met god i said he is so nice and friendly he said i c u dont know ur Hebrew name i said no sry i dont know Hebrew he said that fine i have to tune in to ur language and he did and i could understand him and me and him talk for a while felt like mins about my mom and grandmother and my grandfather came see me but i couldant c him and i ask jesus why i couldant c him and jesus said bc earth time is much slower then heaven time and the 2 time cant meet up so all u c is a bright light but u can feel him and then i felt this cool calming feelin all over my arm i was sayin wow in my head and jesus said i can still hear u even if u dont talk i said that alsome what can i say i was still human lol so at the end he said i have a offer for u i said ok what is the offer he said iam giving u a one time deal to enter heaven with out judgement i said wow and i went to say sumthing and he said but before u answer if u do pick heaven u can never go back to earth or c ur family ur be in heaven for ever and till ur family dies so i said can i have a min to think and fig out he said yes u can so i stand there for a min to me and was thinkin in cons like yes or no and what i need to do so on and i start thinking about my mom and so on and i said to jesus iam sry i cant take ur offer he said that fine and i said i can tell u y even tho u know what iam thinking he said yes true but ill let u tell me bc i know human have to get it off there chest bc i was onces human my self i said my family is nice but they treat my mom like poo and dont do much for with out a fuss and iam the only one left that willing to take care of her and be there for her no one else will and i cant do that if iam in heaven and i know iam dumb to turn down the greats gift anyone could have bc when i go back to earth i will be judge for my gay and cussing and so on he said yes true but when it time to be judge i will keep in mind what u give up and that will work in ur fav and i know what ur road look like and how u will deal with them hardtime it will be noted with ur good deeds and it will help u and there will be a spot for u in heaven, then he said it was great seeing u on till next time but before u go i have some wise words for u when u get back on the chair stay on it dont move or get off bc if u do u will go to a place u will not like and i cant get u out and till the end of time i said is it hell he said all i can tell u is its a place u will not like i said ok i got back on the chair and ride it back to earth as i was riding back down and got back in earth air the chair start going crazy and i jump off and the chair poof on me as iam falling i could c the roof my my house and as i was about to hit the roof i went thou it and enter my body when my soul hit my body it hit so hard it made a pop thou the whole house everyone woke up and was tryin to fig out what that sound was the next working i was soooo cold it took 4 days to get my body back up and i couldant eat and drink very lil end.
so do i bleve in hell maybe but i know i bleve in heaven bc i saw it felt it so i know it real so if there a heaven i know there a hell and i know for sure there a god and jesus and i never let anyone tell me diff

hello i been reading some of everyone sayin and thinking and how they feel and i feel everyone should feel how they think and feel and no one should tell u are wrong bc that how u feel, now on a diff note,
i cant say there is no god or satan or hell or heaven but what i can say is what happen to me and bonnie i think u might like this story or think iam crazy lol
i was in my teens and just coming out to ppl about my sex and scared and trying to hide from my self well one night i was going to sleep it was like any old night i fell asleep and i felt this cool clean air kinda like lavender and it was funny it was a dream i was playing with the kids around my place and one of the kids said look there a chair there and it was wired it was floating then the so call dream started to break down a lil like skip then start again i was trying to fig out understand in my dream and the kids would say the same thing get on the chair i said no iam good that crazy u know then it would do the same break down stop and start over so i said oh hell and got on the dream stop and it start to go black a lil and the chair lift off kinda fast and i c my whole town then i could c space i said out loud oh shit and wait to yell in pain u know but i could c the fire around me but never burn the chair not even a mark so i c my self in space Holden my breath and holden on for dear life u know and i said owell and let go and i did i could still breath and the chair keep moving and i could c this light it was a wired light cant really say what it was it look like a lighthouse light but then it would diff so if ur looking for me to break down everything i cant
so i could c this cloud type but not a cloud type it was stronger then a cloud but soft like a new pillow as i went up i could c diff gates and diff colors on the gate and what u mean diff color on the gate it wasant just gold gates i say silver gold brass and yellow red and so on it look like it never end well my chair stop and start to pull up to this gold gate now it look gold but not bright gold but gold so i waited for the chair to move it didant and i try to make it move by shaking it and so on didant move so i said ok ill get off this chair i look for a min and saw clouds i said ill fall thou this so i wait again was like a 3 hours but on earth a min so i said i cant wait no more so i got off the chair and i touch the cloud and my feet didant go throu part 2

Thank you for this! I will be using these verses this week as I explain to a pre-teen class that despite what they believe from being taught about “Mother Earth” at school and our Abba Father at church, the two are NOT husband and wife and acknowledging “her” as an actual being is from the devil, not God.

The idea of a Holy Mother in the christian tradition now seems to fill a need in the, Catholic Church, for a devine femenin aspect. Mary Mother of God does not share the same atributes with Asherah or Mother Nature save for the title “\Queen of Heaven”

I see Earth as an entity. I do not worship her. I do pray to The one true God and creator for the well being of Nature.
I hold that Humanity is now capable of respecting Nature as sacred no mater what we believe. One idea seems to say Earth is the enemy but the word “world” here does not mean Earth but civilization or culture of men.

13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. ”
We are still Stuarts of Earth and I believe she is not enemy but family.
