Does the phrase, “Mother Nature,” bug you as much as it does me? Who is in control anyway? God or Mother Nature?
I can’t believe I heard it again today on the news, “Mother Nature unleased her wrath again today!” They were talking about the awful tornados that tore their way across the country. Every time there is some unusual weather event someone called, “Mother Nature,” gets the blame or credit. Who is this Mother Nature anyway?
The dictionary says: Mother Nature, noun
“The personification of nature as a powerful and nurturing woman.”
Nature is everything that is not man-made according to the dictionary. Therefore, nature is God made.
Wikipedia says:
“Mother Nature is a personification of nature.”
Every time we get tornados, hurricaines, blizzards, floods, and other weather woes the news and weather media blame it all on Mother Nature. Not only that, but when we have wonderful weather and a beautiful day they say something like, “Mother Nature smiled on us today with this warm weather.” She gets the credit and the glory. So, what is the real story?
God says in Exodus 20:3, NASB “You shall have no other gods before Me.” This is one of the ten commandments, and is serious business.
God is to be praised and worshipped. Not other gods. We in our nation are getting very careless in this area. When we hear the phrase, “Mother Nature”, used over and over it becomes common. We use it without thinking of the true meaning behind it. Most of us wouldn’t intentionally praise another god.
Did you know that God is in control of the weather not Mother Nature?
The Bible has a lot to say about God and how He controls the weather.
(Psalms 78:26 NASB) He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens And by His power He directed the south wind.
(Psalms 107:25 NASB) For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, Which lifted up the waves of the sea.
(Psalms 135:7 NASB) He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightnings for the rain, Who brings forth the wind from His treasuries.
(Psalms 148:8 NASB) Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
(Proverbs 30:4 NASB) Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son’s name? Surely you know!
(Mark 4:39 NASB) And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
God created the Heavens and the Earth and He controls the weather. So, you may ask, “Why does God allow this terrible weather to cause us all kinds of problems?” The answer is that God is Sovereign. He can do whatever He wants. He is in control and nothing gets by Him.
Have you ever stopped to think that God allows bad things to happen to our nation to get our attention? We have lost our moral footing. In our society today anything goes. The news certainly validates this. There used to be sin and shame, but it has been replaced with nothing is right or wrong.
But, God says:
(Colossians 3:5 NASB) Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
(Colossians 3:6 NASB) For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience,

The world says, “You can’t fool Mother Nature.” I say, “You can’t fool God.” He is still there, He is in control, and He holds us in the palm of His hand. We need to cry out for mercy!

Jewish scholars are meticulously going through the Bible chapter by chapter comparing what is written vs what has transpired historically.. They are finding so many flaws and realize man made things up to fit what actually happened. They also find misinterpretations to fit the thinking of the time. So far they have only;y completed 3 chapters. They say it will take another 100 years at the rate they are going to completely rewrite the Bible as it was meant to be.
Now with all that said, what you and your followers are believing in is nothing more than a “Grand Novel” written by man to sound as fact. God can not write nor can he speak. Have you seen him write? Have you seen him speak? In fact have you seen him at all? To me, my God is everything around me that I can touch, see , hear, and smell. My God doesn’t give one rats behind if you are man, woman or child if “she” decides to have an earthquake, typhoon, or any other disaster she wants to set upon us. I only call my God a “she” because my God did not create man in it’s image or anything else. My God created humans through trial and error called evolution as it has been proven scientifically to be.
You may believe in whatever you like, that’s your right. But i refuse to have any more discussions or arguments and a battle of the minds with an unarmed person. And Lady, your unarmed!

No Bonlou… A human wrote the Bible not a God”. The Bible was written by MAN! As was the Koran and all other teachings. People like yourself continually rationalize their existence on what a Human did. They call themselves “Believers”. Well you can believe all you want but “spiritual” imaginary beings did not create us…period. You came from bacteria that evolved into the human form millions of years ago. That is scientific fact. Now are you going to tell people Science is a myth?
I’m not trying to take away your religion. You can have all the spirit you want. More people believe in Buddha and Muhammad than Christ. Are you going to tell them they’re wrong? Christians continually do all the time. Well guess what? so do the Muslims and Zen Buddhists. Religion is a way of life. How to be a peace with each other. But you know what? It isn’t working! Hasn’t been working since the very first thought, made up by mankind ,of a God. Over 2000 years we have been at WAR with each other. All over the premise of religion.
I for one, along with many others, have awoken to the reality that we are here because we were created by the physics and science of the Universe. For which some of us call “Mother Nature”. And that debatable if she even exists. But it’s more accurate what the Koran, or the Bible is. So far every living thing on earth has become extinct . We are no exception. Your God isn’t going to help you. Why because there just isn’t the “other side”. How do I know. Been there, done that, after being on an operating table for 45 minutes and declared legally dead but brought back in a planned surgical procedure called open heart surgery. When a “machine” controls your life form your are not alive.

Mother Nature is supreme….To be quite frank I strongly believe there is no god….god is merely the creation of mankind. Mankind came up with the idea of religion to assuage their ever increasing desire to understand the creation of life…why life exist…when in actuality in order to understand the creation of life one must look to the Earth.

In a “free” society I hold the belief that all people are entitled to their beliefs right or wrong. But when it becomes clear and obvious to me, that people are going down the wrong road because they have been brainwashed since birth in the belief that what is written in a book hundreds of years ago is the absolute truth, then I say something. This applies to ALL religions. The Bible, Koran, Teachings of Buddha, etc. are teachings on “how” to live and get along in society. There are so many flaws in all of them you could argue all day. Guess what? You do argue all day, all night, all week, all year, and have been for hundreds of years. You argue when ever there is the opportunity to do so. And I user the word “argue” in lieu of discussion because arguments lead to WAR. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock (which some of you have) religious WARS have been going on for thousands of years and are even happening NOW. Religion is the biggest killer of society today! We are in and have been in a religious war too long. Its time to come to the realization there is something better in life than what is read in books and writings created before our time. It was based on superstitions and false beliefs. From the lack of knowledge of the time. Earth was created not from the Bible or any other writing! It is from physics and science that we are here today pure and simple. Get over it. Whether we call it “Mother Nature” or “God” is irrelevant! When you are dead…you are DEAD! Doomsday was just last week….well it never happened did it? And how many followers sit there now wondering what happen? Good devoted Christians too! Mindless idiots is all I can say. Go ahead blast them too as not being true followers because that’s whats you do best. You are so wrapped up in not accepting the truth of what this world is about you have blinded yourselves. And before you rag on me, I was a Deacon of a church at one time! Then my eyes opened to reality of what life is about. If there is anyone who has doubts in their mind then lean toward reality that’s going on today, not false promises from some religious leader who claims he speaks to GOD! Because ask this question, if he is real, why does he continually kill innocent people among those who are young children who have not had the time to sin? It isn’t a “Devil” because the Devil is the creation of religion and superstition. Unfortunately for civilization, we will die off in the years to come. Either through the War’s of religion or that little rock that hits the Earth!

The God of the Bible is the one and only true God. The Bible tells us that “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1. He was there before the world was made, and He made it. He is worth worshipping.
I have read that in Hinduism there are over 300 million gods to worship. They are not the gods who created the earth. There is only one true God. God is: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God the Son. As a Christian I worship Jesus Christ. Do you know that the Christian religion is the only one that worships a living Savior? Jesus died and after he was buried he rose from the grave and lives on now in heaven. The other religions worship dead people. Or, they worship animals, nature, and man made idols.
